MacBook Pro Overheating? Update Your Firmware.

After my Powerbook was stolen a couple of months ago, I got the new MacBook Pro.

And boy do these buggers run hot. I don’t mean theoretically, I mean real live, don’t put it on your lap kinda hot.

Did a bit of research, and a Firmware update (which adjusts fan behaviour) handles the problem quite nicely. Pretty dramatic difference, actually.

As for the rest, it’s a very sweet machine.
