Greenpeace International
Conducted an evaluation of GPIs global fundraising platform, built on Salesforce.com. The evaluation sought to distill lessons learned from a highly complex global technology rollout. The process involved conducting a detailed analysis of project plans and documentation, interviewing 25 stakeholders from around the world, and producing a comprehensive report which was presented to GPIs senior leadership team, and shared organization wide.

The Dream Corps
Conducted an assessment of this start-up organization’s overall communications capacity and infrastructure. Developed a detailed report with recommendations for addressing strategic and infrastructure gaps. Initiated and produced their 2015 year-end report. 

The Gold Standard
Conducted a comprehensive assessment of this global organization’s core business processes, developed technology requirements, recommendations, and an implementation plan. Provides ongoing coaching to senior leadership on stakeholder engagement, change management, and project management.

Undocumented Student Program, UC Berkeley
Worked with the USP team to develop an online strategy, recruit a design/development team, manage the website redesign process, and craft a long-term support structure.

Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund
For over a decade, has supported this San Francisco-based foundation on a myriad of communications initiatives, including three website redesigns and a CRM implementation. In addition, Leda managed the implementation, rollout, and change management strategy for several organization-wide technology initiatives, including a new grants management system built on Salesforce.com. Provides ongoing coaching on strategy, vendor relations, infrastructure, and change management.


Key Projects

Story of Stuff Project
Worked with the Story of Stuff Project to scale their communications infrastructure, so they could manage their rapidly growing base of supporters, collaborators, and partners. Leda also provided organizational development consulting, including retreat design and facilitation.

Interaction Institute for Social Change (IISC) 
Guided IISC through a comprehensive Technology Systems Redesign. This 6-month process included a detailed assessment of business processes and supporting technology infrastructure, a complete set of technology recommendations, a multi-year implementation and rollout plan, RFP development and vendor vetting, and change management guidance.

American Association for Justice
Leda went in-house to serve as Director of Online Projects for this DC-based national association. During her tenure, she was responsible for a complete redesign and execution of their online and interactive strategy. This included establishing a new online department, streamlining all internal systems and processes, and building a network of ongoing technology partners.

Green for All
Worked with this then start-up nonprofit to develop a strategic technology plan, manage the development of their online infrastructure, and cultivate a network of providers to support their ongoing work.

dotOrganize
In May of 2006, ScoutSeven initiated this 2-year project to shed light on the sector-wide inadequacies of the nonprofit technology sector. Our report, Online Technology for Social Change: From Struggle to Strategy, was the first-ever reality check on the state of the nonprofit technology sector (May 2006–Jan 2009).

League of Young Voters
During their first election cycle, Leda worked with the League to develop a strategic technology plan, execute online voter guides, and manage the organizational challenges of a start-up nonprofit.

Agenda
In 2004, Leda Dederich spent much of the year working and researching in Israel and the occupied territories. A highlight of her journey was collaborating with the Israeli-based Agenda to deliver trainings on the strategic use of online technology to Israeli and Palestinian social change organizations.

Arianna Huffington for Governor
